Salesforce had invested heavily in helping organizations to both self train on bite size modules which cover topics the breadth of their platform, as well as to become contributors to the professional community of experts they’ve assembled. If your organization has Salesforce deployed for your CRM, encourage members of your team to invest some time on the site, perhaps challenging them to learn some specific skills you know might benefit your organization. It’s free and it’ll introduce them to a great resource and networking environment.

Perhaps if you’ve started with a basic deployment, you might find you can compliment your current capabilities with some additional value through exploring both the training modules. The online forums are also searchable and you may find others have had the same questions you have, and if not, you can post questions for peers and Salesforce experts to provide feedback.

If you’re not a Saleforce user, this is certainly a great way to trial the software platform as well. It’ll give you the ability to gain insight about how Sales, Service, Marketing, Finance, Production, Tech Support, Administration, and your customers can all interact with your business on a single platform and through many channels.
